In the Liptov region, you can visit articulated the wooden church in Svaty Kriz, the museum in Pribylina, the UNESCO protected area Vlkolínec, the Celtic out-door musemu Havranok, the centres of Liptovsky Mikulas and Ruzomberok.

The folk traditions are still here. You can notice them in everyday life and at various folk festivals, which are held during the summer. The most important festival of this country, Vychodna, is held in our region every weekend of July the 1st.

The region is surrounded by the highest mountains of the country, the nature is clean with hundreds of kilometres of marked hiking traces. It's a real hiking paradise!

Then, there are breath-taking caverns in Demanovska dolina, the waterfall Lucky, and Prosiek valley.
The region Liptov is covered in snow for 120 days every year in average, the best conditions are since the half of december until the end of march. The most important places for skiing are Jasna, Skipark Ruzomberok, parksnow Donovaly and parksnow Strbske Pleso.
Liptov has many natural, warm water streams. Just a few kilometres from our cottage, there's Thermal Park Besenova and Aquapark Tatralandia.
